Cutting – Bundler 1st and 2nd Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a first shift (6a - 2:45p M - F) and second shift (1:30p - 11:30p M - Th) Cutting Bundler. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Working with a team, the bundler will be responsible for handling and bundling the fabric as it comes off of the automated cutting machine.

Essential Functions

• Remove cut fabric from automated cutting machine • Maintain efficiency by working at a steady pace • Maintain attention to detail while bundling/matching up fabric • Prepare cut fabric for the sewing department

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • Excellent attendance is required for this position • The ability to work harmoniously with a team and individually • Experience in an upholstery manufacturing cutting department is preferred

Other Duties

As part of the Design Foundry team, all associates should have a willing attitude to assist in other areas as needed.

 

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment can be loud. The facility is temperature controlled, safe, and clean.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. To perform this role successfully requires the ability to stand consistently for an 8-hour shift, sitting is occasional. To maneuver fabric material, the material handler will need the use of arms, hands, fingers and elbows and have the ability to twist at the waist frequently turning and reaching. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Walking is required.
