Frame Assembler

Position Summary

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. The Frame Assembly Tech will assemble the frames with quality top of mind, in a timely fashion preparing the frame for the next operation.

Essential Functions

• Assemble frames according to specifications • Square the frames by installing frame parts • Use of tools such as staple guns, screwdrivers, impact guns, hammers, pliers, clamps, etc.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience building frames in a production environment • Repetitive reaching, pushing/pulling, and twisting • Maintain a consistent work pace and excel in a fast-paced work environment • Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis, which could include overtime • Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions • Able to stand for extended periods of time • Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs as production dictates • Lifting weight: 25 + lbs. frequent along with 60 lbs. team lifting

Other Duties

As part of the Design Foundry team, all associates should have a willing attitude to assist in other areas as needed.

 

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Ear and eye protection are required. The facility is temperature controlled, organized, safe and clean.

Physical Demands

To perform this role successfully requires the ability to stand consistently for an 8-hour shift, 9 hours during overtime. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Manual Dexterity -- The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Finger Dexterity -- The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects. Near Vision -- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Static Strength -- The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry frame parts and push completed frames. Push objects 50-75 pounds alone or with a partner.
